For almost 50 years now, Lederer has been among the market leaders when it comes to the procurement of quality stainless-steel fasteners and individual special parts by drawing, as well as efficient C-parts management. More than 4 million articles are currently sold and delivered every day, which corresponds to a weight of some 80 tons that is moved through the incoming and outgoing goods areas, packed, loaded and dispatched.

Following the completion of the expanded warehousing and logistics premises in 2015, it has now also been possible to gradually complete the commissioning of the almost doubled office space that was built parallel to the ongoing business activities during the past 18 months.

Around 170 employees in the commercial and industrial areas ensure that the stringent quality and delivery requirements of customers from all over the world are implemented.

Since the summer of 2015 alone, more than 145.000m3 in the industrial section of the company have been filled with fastening technology. An automated small-parts warehouse with over 33,000 places, more than 1.5 km of light-cargo and pallet-based materials handling technology, new incoming and outgoing goods areas, and state-of-the-art packaging and dispatch stations point the way to the future.

In order to enable further growth in our commercial area as well, two additional storeys have now been built on top of the existing two-storey and 16-cornered building erected in the 1980s. In the process, the building’s striking visual effect, the façade’s unique appearance and the glass cupola roof that towers over everything else were preserved (and/or “recreated” with more modern working and insulation materials) … except that it’s twice as big as before. At the same time, of course, the existing functional areas have also been given a thorough overhaul and renovation. Spaciously laid-out rooms, modern workspaces and the latest communication technology are thereby fortifying the family-run company’s commercial backbone and consequently creating ideal prospects for the continuation of its steady course of expansion.

With the sale of currently some 40,000 goods in stock, comprehensive logistical services, more than 100 C-parts management systems operated at the behest of customers, its own online shop and its presence on many procurement portals, Lederer ensures the satisfaction of several thousand customers from commerce and industry in Germany and abroad.
